Wait long enough and you will get want you want for a lower price. The 2014 Lunar Lotus horse discounted to $78.88 from $98.88. So I saved $20 by waiting one year.

The Horse was the last one that I've bought from the Mint. As I see, the people collect this series, but the supply is huge...will wait for discounted Ship and Monkey

With COA or without it, the selling price is for coin (that what people need). Means, we can see significant drop in the price.
Why they would sell it for 1500, if the "market value" is 2000? Because no one want to buy it for market value. Btw, this is not the first same coin, that they sold without the COA.....how many 2013 Supeman coins they have more without the COA?

You might save $40 if you wait 2 years. But then, who has that much patience?

Btw, this is not the first same coin, that they sold without the COA.....how many 2013 Supeman coins they have more without the COA? Not really true. Its just not many want it at market value without the CoA, there is the difference. If you are going to have it graded then $1500 is a good deal, hope for at least 69 and pray for a 70! In the last few months this coin has sold on ebay for on the low side $2250 ca and like $2600 ca or more on the high side. Although with the Canadian dollar the way it is, this might be a slightly inflated price in ca dollars. The strange thing is the full set of silver superman coins with the gold have sold for around the same price give or take. Seems better to sell the silver coins separately and not as a lot.

This is true. The gold coin has "significant weight", so the silver ones considered as add-ons. But separately, they also should demand some premium. Ans about Gold coin: right, without COA it would detract the buyers, but after all, as you mentioned, and Justsilver has done - just send it for grading - and you have certified coin again. Need to mention, that again, some potential buyers will refer to this story by suspect: "I purchased this coin without COA (?) from dealer and sent it for grading".

Like you said though once it is graded/certified/slabbed then really no need for a coa, but the coa would enhanced it for sure but not necessary.

I bought 2013 Superman Gold Coin from Colonial Acres yesterday for CAD$1,500 + tax $75 with missing COA while current ebay sold prices were around USD$2,000 ( CAD$2700 ) because I think it was a bargain for me to grab. Thinking to send for grading ( at least PR69 and hopefully PR70 ) for personal collection. Is wondering if NGC allowed one slab with 3 gold coins? 2013, 2014, 2015 Heard from RFD'er that NGC required grading coin came with COA ( or copy of COA ). I have no problem with this policy because I have few 2013's COA in my hands now which I bought ( coin + COA ) during new coin release.

NGC does have these mega slabs for a set of 4 to 5 coins, have no idea what the costs are, but a decent idea.

You've done correct, Justsilver. Yes, if you already have the coin + COA, this is really bargain, and if you had a free funds for it - why not?
I not sure that it the best idea - to put three coins in the "mega" slab, cause it will be very expensive single item. It will limit amount of potential buyers in the future.
