Ever hear of the RCM having a liquidation auction?

An email I received from an auction company stated, "Join Mariner Auctions Online for a Royal Canadian Mint Coin Liquidation Auction to include a large selection of Current, Archived and Sold-Out Issues. Brand New, Not Shopworn and Clean Product." I watch their auctions every week, so it wasn't because I'm MC or anything to do with the RCM.
A couple odd things about this auction. As soon as the auction was over, there was no longer public access to see what the items were. All I can now see are the items I placed bids on. Web site shows "I'm sorry, the auction you are attempting to view has been hidden by the auctioneer." Is that normal? I've never seen it from this auction company before. And I found it odd that it wasn't just old stuff. There were 2017 and 2018 products.
After seeing some of the items during the auction, I'd almost think it wasn't the RCM, but perhaps Canadian Coin and Currency or TSC. There were a couple of the Bronze Confederation Medal Re-strikes and Canada 150 Logo Medal that I've only seen for sale from those 2 places.

There were some good deals for someone, still most were too rich for me. I kept of record of what the items went for. Some of the higher items were.
$160 2017 My Canada, My Inspiration Special Wrap - 5 Roll Collection.
$140 2017 RCM Lore: The Forgotten 1927 Designs - Pure Silver 3 Coin Set.
$130 2017 $30 Star TrekTM: Five Captains - Pure Silver Glow-in-the-Dark Coin. Issue: $194.95.
$155 2015 $20 Looney TunesTM - Pure Silver 4-Coin Set with Watch
$400 2018 $50 Soapstone Sculpture: Polar Bear - Pure Silver Coin
$625 2017 2017 $100 Sculpture of Majestic Canadian Animals: Bighorn Sheep - Pure Silver Coin w/ 24kt Gold Overlay
$650 2017 $100 Sculpture of Majestic Canadian Animals: Wolf - Pure Silver Coin w/ 24kt Gold Overlay
$500 2016 $100 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - 14kt Gold Coin.
$120 2013 Proof Set - Canada Arctic Expedition .9999 Fine Silver.

And some of what I think are Bromberg items
$102.50 1867 Confederation Medal Re-strike - Bronze Piece
$102.50 1927 Confederation Medal Re-strike - Bronze Piece
$45.00 2017 Canada 150 Logo Medal - 1 oz. Pure Silver Piece

Some not so good deals.
$155 2018 $20 Golden Spring Pysanka - Pure Silver Coin. (Not a good of a deal unless you already bought it at issue)
$27.5 2012 $20 for $20 Farewell To The Penny - Pure Silver Coin

Here is another web site that is still showing the auction items.

Not a deal at all. There is no bright future from the value perspective for this coin.
The fist 2 items that come in the ebay search:

CAD 138 with a shipping from Vancouver
CAD 137 with a shipping from Sarnia

Looks more like a dealer buying out a collector or two at close to bullion and just unloading these trough an auction, CCC has his own outlet to bundle old stock and save auction fees

The auction is being done by the Marine Auctions & Liquidations in Dartmouth Nova Scotia. This company seem to handle everyday under the sun.

Nothing to do with the RCM. It just happen this an auction to do with RCM coins. The fact they have 2017 and 2018 RCMs is not unusual at all. The NCLT market is dead as a door nail. Demand for coins is pretty low now. Auctions from Colonial Acres and Auction Network always have recent RCM items.

Nothing to do with CC&C. Why would they ship coins to another province when they could do it through a local company since they are based in Toronto. Probably some collector wanting to get rid of those coins.

BTW, Auction Network also do not post winning bids after the auction is over.

The seller from Vancouver has reduced the price to CAD 128.88

probably "Pysanka" series exhausted to bring extra value.

From that weekend auction, I was just happy to pick up a genuine official Royal Canadian Mint black light flashlight for only $60. Those things are going for big bucks lately. I hope its not a foreign made knock off. As a bonus, they through in a 2015 $20 Weather Phenomenon: Summer Storm - Pure Silver Coin.

Pretty grating to see last years Canada 150 Parliament Hill sell for $129.95 when I paid issue price of $189.95 for it.

I didn't buy this coin because I expected a price drop.

Will buy the Niagara Falls 2oz GITD coin next year for $129.95.

Rjlavoie ... I ordered through the CANADA151 promo, put in the promo code & met all the criteria and still did not receive the coin in my shipment. Will be contacting the mint today. Frustrating.
