Save all bicentennials MS65 and above.
In fact save ALL coins from circulation in MS65 and above.
That can be a very hard thing to do, because almost all newly issued business strike coins fresh from the Mint have at least ONE very detracting bag mark.

Keep a few nice looking ones. They are pretty common unless they are in pristine condition.

I visited California in 2008. At that time I received in change a half dollar and re spent it on a number of occasions, over a period of about two weeks.

Phooey! They were ALL clad base metal! Didn't see any bicentennials, but I would have spent them all anyway.
