The new Welcome to the World, $10 1/2 oz. coin with the Baby's feet is incused this year, where the feet are carved into the coin below the surface of the field. Should be neat. I think these coins stand the best chance year over year of increasing in value. People are Baby crazy, I have the past two years.

Quote: US $100forC$100 ? - probably not legal tender One or more private mints have been making versions of these silver $100 bills for years. They are most definitely not legal tender! Just a novelty collectible.

Oddly, The coin shoppe is not charging tax on the SJAM 5-pack either. Then again, they don't seem to be charging tax on shipping either.

Really nice coin, CC-Ottawa thank you for sharing! I think this one from all the release worth it's money. Still curious, why they put the backpacker there...no needed. Btw, amount of small Maple Leafs is 50 as expected. What is the COA number?

Quote: Still curious, why they put the backpacker there...no needed. The lone backpacker looking out over the wide open landscape is meant to be symbolic of how each individual Canadian has "the freedom to explore and grow as they pursue their dreams." ( RCM Catalogue) I think the design works very well - but I like coins with symbolic designs vs. literal designs. @CC-Ottawa: Looks good! Thanks for sharing. I should be receiving mine early next week.

The COA is close to 11000. The pic really doesn't do justice. It's a much better looking coin in hand IMO. second try at getting a decent pic:

Thanks for effort, CC-Ottawa
The last picture amazing..frosted and mirrored surfaces on the silver proof coin look so good. Specifically if the design eye appealing.
