I heard on the Radio that the Macdonald's (Sir John A.) toonie has a mintage of 5 millions. They were saying that this is the lowest mintage for Toonie.... don't know how true that is...

The Mint already went this way - setting limit of 1 for the not limited item. From one hand, people will be satisfied by being able to buy one copy, from other hand the dealers will also enjoy - lead by different reasons, people will seek possibility to order more sets.

Visited the RCM site earlier today and noticed this ad touting January's general release:  It's the first time I've seen the bear "Star Charts" coin featured in the ad - I couldn't find it for sale on the site, however. Maybe it's a tease for February's release? Just thought I'd make note of it for those collecting the series. (I might be late to the party with this post as I haven't been following this series closely. If I am, I apologize for the redundant info.) Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! I think this is the first time I've seen that bear coin too. It appears to be the third in the series that is scheduled to ship in Feb.

Yeah...agree, Northerncoins. And for me will be enough even 2. I do not think, that it was smart move for RCM, but yes - people will want some more, will buy from dealer, and in order to "cover" the shipping, will order something else. |

It $12 for 5 $2 coins= $10 , maybe they are including the tax, I dont know but I didnt pay any taxes just the extra $2

Check with your reps. Mine has offered me up to 10 (5/pack) packs of the SJAM twonies. (I ordered 4)
