This is another nice looking third farthing that I picked up in a collection lately. What are your comments on the condition and value please.

My first question is where do you find such lovely fractional farthings?

The link I gave you in the half farthing thread should help you on value for this. Just remember it is in English Pounds and reflects the English market and grading. MS61 means nothing in their system. I think it would be Unc, but do not be dismayed if a knowledable Englishman tells you it is a Good Extra Fine. It is a beautiful example and I would be very proud to own it.

Yes Better than mine now I am Jealous . Its definatley on the better side of EF. His hair always takes a beating even from a cool breeze. Check him over with fine tooth comb Normally re punches and errors on these. Very nice coin Gratz . Its a variety as in its different obverse from mine its a wider larger date with a high 5 . I of gratia is to Space between teeth. Mine is directly over tooth. Your 1 in date is also over a tooth. Mine points to space between. There lots of other differences. There is only 1 obv type listed for this year. Funny thing is the one shown is different from both lol.
As for Value the brits do seem to want 100% luster. Book price is £100 for EF GEF Around £120 But to sell. Now you have a variety type who knows.

Looks AU, About Uncirculated, to me, from the photos. Better photos and I'll agree with mint state.

Nice coin.
