Here's an exfoliating 48. lol. A to denticles. Now I'm not sure if this is a layer peel or not, perhaps corrosion, maybe someone will clarify, either way it's pretty cool.

Well my vote so far goes to Zonad and his clam shell. Amazing coin to look at!

And 47P7....you should start a new thread with your dog's breakfast coin. I would like to see it discussed by the experts. Wow!

I just picked up a 1969 1 cent the other day. I wasn't sure of it at first. I thought It looked like someone used a powerful acid on a portion of this coin.

As I examined it closer, I realized it has a slight blakesley effect as well as the flaw that runs from the roman numerals II all the way through the queen and to the rim below the bust. Plus there is the flaw to the right of the leaves.

I think it is a nice purchase after all! Any other thoughts or comments? Thanks.
