I was checking serials and came across one that almost matched my previous phone number, and that caught my attention.

I remember the phone numbers from when I was a kid and thought it may be cool to have a bill from the era that I had those numbers.

For example from 1979 to 1992 I had 878-8385 so a bill in that time period with that number would be a neat keepsake.

Cool! But I doubt there would be many collectors. And also, the guy above me has the most simple answer I've seen on this forum.

I don't think there would be a lot of collectors either, but since Canadian bills are 7 digits it would be neat to find your phone number.
It may be a bit more difficult since when people search dates, they rearrange the format to suit, giving more chances to find them.

As far as short answers I have seen this before;

That is shorter than OK.

Here are some numbers of interest to me
828-6224
878-8385
833-2697
876-4414
878-1260
594-1663

Interesting... I never thought of these types of bills. They will probably have an interest even more limited than birthday notes just because they have to be specific to the finder, since almost any 7-digit number could be a phone number. I guess I'll start looking!

I usually check the serial numbers on Canadian bank notes. I was at a casino in BC, and the cash cage usually issues brand new crisp notes. Too my surprise, I got a the same number as my girlfriends cell phone! I gave the UNC bank note to her, and she still has it. We both thought it was cool and what are the chances!

It would be a ehuge challenge to find a note of this type. This could be quite funeral and rewarding. Framed and Hung on a wall would be a great conversation starter, a very unique idea!! Ink
I wonder how long it would take to get 4-5 notes that are suitable for display?
Gf
I like very much how Steven Bromberg is displaying his note collections. It's very classy those dark wood cases. They can sit on top of a desk like a photo or be hung on the wall.
Display choices are important if you choose to have your collection displayed and want it to pop!! For me, if I'm going to have my collection on display, whatever it happens to be, I want it too be classy. I love the cherry, walnut, mahogany real wood cases.
