How soon will we know the replacement serial numbers for new bills? The 5.oo is supposed to be HBG1362... or perhaps HAM ......... The 10.oo FTH7814...or maybe prefix FEW- I say no,,,because I think fog Devil is correct...The new polymer 5,10's are going to be out Thursday 7 Nov13... Do we hav to wait til SAt ,,Sunday or what?No way to know sooner?The prefix Fev is maybe the last for Journey series 10.oo bills....How should one go about finding these Replacement notes?Or what should one do on Thursday Nov7 ?Go visit 10 banks on same day to collect different Serial numbers?or spend your whole500.oo bucks at one bank for 5, 10's ?

well the banks are just closeing now in Saskatchewan.....and toon town....I went to 4 banks today and no new polymer bills..........I guess the banks don't care about Canada as a country....no patiatism........I will give the US of A a big compliment here, by saying Americans are a lot more Patriotic than most Canadians are.....In Canada we hav a saying,,,"Good country Canada"......but still no real patiatism.....I was in the Army so I pretty much hav to be a Patriate.........Yesterday I missed the TV show Revolution.....because it was coin club meeting..............Day + one and no new bills yet.......

Scanners have something in them that prevents bills from being scanned ......I guess its was done to thwart counterfeiters ....

Banks think any form of a collector is a counterfeiter,,,,,,,They think I am were I take my plastic bottle return,,,because I had the audasity to ask to trade a little bit of bills I had in my pocket,,after I noticed they had new ones......I became a secrity risk......Ha.. Its Saturday and I still do not hav any frontier series 5 or 10.oo's .........

I'm not even going to touch your patriotic or counterfeit rants.. but to talk about replacement figures... You will have to give it at least 3 - 4 months for the intial data to come in.
Printing companies do not give that kind of data... so it's up to certain people (mainly brickers) to input data that will show where the gaps in printing numbers and where replacements have/or will be issued.

Thank Yu silvercoin member ......yu are correct....I will even hav to eat my words above when I stated Canadians not very Patriotic...This is wrong and it was proven to me with my own eyes,,I saw a packed Place where the Saskatoon SK remembrance day Service was held...I was very impressed....Last year an Army buddie of mine told me Remembrance Day was comming back,,,Now I see he was correct...Not that many years ago we Canadians were using the Day to relax and enjoy the break from work......I see now that trend is waining,,,,,,,good......I am glad we Remember,,,,Our Afganistan Dead,,including my friend Josh---------------I Remember.....

Well its Thursday 14 Nov.........and I still do not have any polymer 5 or 10's...
I will try again tommorow,,, maybe even 2 or 3 banks,,,maybe try to give a 20.oo for a cup of coffee at timie's (So I get change)....

I just got one of the new 5 dollar bills from my dump bank and spent it at another to get more dimes to crh. The tellers at the second bank hadn't gotten any yet and where fascinated with it. Anyways, I really like the new design. A lot better then the current $5 bill.

Radar notes: one per thousand. 4 digit repeaters: also one per thousand, I believe. Not a bad chance.
