This is my personal favorite coin. Just the design and clean look of it. Well this is the best photograph of a coin that I have taken. Bare in mind there is no tripod used and no special lighting. Just camera flash from a Sony Cybershot 8.1

What a great looking Peace dollar. One of the clearest looking strikes I've seen in a long time. Nice coin!Mike

Thank you, I am going to try and see if I can get a good picture of the reverse today. This was the first picuture to come out that good looking for me.

I never noticed the vertical scratch or line on the left until I took this picture. I am going to have to investigate what it really is. It really can' be seen unless you look at it with a loupe. hmmm Thanks for comments guys and gals!

Nice Coin.
Try putting a piece of white paper or cloth between the flash and the coin, It will diffuse the flash (less glare)
Also a white piece of paper as a reflector on the opposite side of the coin as the flash (the base of your camera)
this will help even out the light.
