Alright I have been trying to figure this out for a while now and I guess I had finally better suck it up and ask because chances are someone on here knows the answer and can save me and the last of my sanity. Ok so I have a Canon PowerShot A530 digital camera and a HP office jet 7210 all in one. When I try to take closeups with the camera they get really fuzzy and I can't hold the magnifying glass steady. The scanner scans all of the things very small.

So can anyone help me get large images with either the scanner or the camera? I'd like to stop being clueless.

camera....do you have a "macro" setting?

scanner...find where you can change your "dpi" settings

once we have an answer we can help ya out a bit more. but for now if you have a tripod try using that to make the camera steady. don't hold it right up to the coin. sometimes you need to hold it back and then crop later in your computer.
