What the ...!?

I noticed my post where I mentioned storing my type set in Eagle Certified Coin Albums.
I haven't done that for years.
Then I noticed the date on my post was in 2014 and I understood.
So my set is slabbed and in Internet Shield slab boxes and mostly in a bank safe deposit box.
As I said my type set is based on the NGC Registry Type Set, 1793-1964.
I'm within about 5 coins of completion.
A few I'll won't get in an acceptable grade (to me) unless I hit the lottery:
-- 1796 Quarter
-- 1796 or 1797 Half Dollar/Small Eagle Reverse

The nice thing about type sets is that you can make your own definition of what "complete" is.

Thanks for your update. Your above statement is what makes this endeavor unique and challenging at the same time.

Take a look at CAPS albums for 1800's Type Set and 1900's & 2000's Type Set. Includes many more coins. I have completed both albums.

CAPS has three types for Standing Liberty, three types for Three Cents, type for low and high relief Peace dollars, but still only one type for Mercury dimes! OUTRAGE!
