I would never buy coins from Amazon , and no longer buy coins from the U.S. mint since their drive to make tons of money from the hobby . Out of the 3 sources you mentioned E-bay would be the best place to buy coins . But don't forget your own Bank where you can buy at face .

Better in what way? Selection? Prices? Convenience?

You're missing many other choices but if you need an answer from the three you selected, I would say ebay.

There are several reputable dealers selling on ebay. If not a dealer, caveat emptor.

As already said, this forum, coin shows, banks, coin stores, hobby stores. Out of the 3 choices given, I'd say none.

Of those three choices, having to choose one, ebay. US Mint is great for new releases. Never bought on Amazon.
