The Orange Peel Error is all so visually evident. Not too sure what the Black area is. Anealment (sp?) issues? Partial missing Clad issues. What I may (or may not) understand about Orange peel coins, they get to HOT in the MINT press. Hope all the heavy lifters will chime in on this one.

The post I made on 2-11-2015 was partially in error. Quote:
No Silver. ~`~`~`(1) 1976 (S) clad nicely toned. First class coin, this one. I just weighed it and it is SILVER. Better yet it is a PEG LEGIf you look back to the post on 2-11-2015, it is one of two coins in 2 X 2 flips. Wondering if it would be worth while to TPG it

Went to my CU Lady to just touch bass, and bring her chocolates. She always calls me if there IS a pile somewhere in her several BRANCHES. We just talked, she check all the branches before I left. And that was it. She did have a $10 roll in Half dollars, and I got them. Nothing special. But was a thrill looking when I got home.

UP-DATE
Just got long email from my friend at the CU.
Besides 3-4 paragraphs of personal stuff, she said she would check all the other (7-8?) branches.
From memory cannot recall exact number of IKEs she has had for me. EDIT the number is 452
If there is any in the system, hoping to go over 500.

Jbuck Quote: We await your results. We are trading emails (about personal stuff) I try never to ask about it. I have full faith in her to nail every coin in her 7-8 branch computer systemFirst work the friendship.
She will take care of the IKEs

UP-DATE Nothing new to report, from last week, so far. Assuming no IKEs within her reach, last week. Was grateful she reached out to email me. (May) try to bring her some fresh chocolate (Today)

Took fresh chocolate to her this afternoon. Small talk for about half an hour. Feel we are getting closer and closer as friendship buddies. As we were visiting she checked different branches for my IKEs Maybe coins soon, I hope.

Is this a love story or a coin forum ...? Sounds like 95 Ike's is starting to sound like Question Mark and the Mysterions song 96 tears. . . Seems to me it would be cheaper to just buy a bag of Ike's . Chocolate ain't. Cheap

That'd be great to get them for face value! Cheapest I could ever find is buying in bulk for around 15% over face value. I actually found quite a few in coinstar machines from jams. Apparently people dump them but the machine only takes them and they spin around on the coin disc. They never actually get counted and sit there until someone empties the machine.
