UP-DATE
After going through the 118 IKEs I want to down grade the general overall condition, of said coins.
Last night I was comparing my (new) 1974 -- 1977 -- 1978 coins to the ones I already had.
The new ones just do not measure up in general over all quality.
Regarding the 1971 -- 1972 coins, I really just do not care one way or another. And do not want to spend the time-energy to do the job.
There was three 1976 (D) (P) peg legs ~`~` but not in MS condition. Maybe a strong AU condition.
I guess my mode of collecting is evolving to and fro ~`~` from hoarding quantity ~`~` to up grading ~`~` and to even (start) selling again, some of the STUFF for a profit. If it is even still possible.
From only a feeble memory in the last 15--20 months, I did sell about 20 IKEs for about $200 (net-net)
The net profit was satisfying and mostly a TEST of the
ebay market.
If I really ever do need cash, I personally consider (RAW) IKEs as a cash crop. Mostly in the ERROR, LOW BALL or PEG LEG variety.
Wish it was cheap to do TPGing. But that cost is prohibitive ~`~` me thinks.
Will try to get a PIC of the coins ~`~` my camera is giving me fits right now.
