Looks like Claudius II or his brother Quintillus
. Hardly a guru mate . Just a history addict :)
Let Echizento confirm this one because I just can't see very well. The reverse looks like Jupiter almighty though . Best luck and wishes !

Definitely Claudius II Gothicus. My weak eyes clearly read "iMP C CLAVDIVS AVg".
The reverse is a matter in itself though.

I see Claudius clearly as well on obverse.

Reverse I can't make out.

So it this a good thing or a bad thing? It's hard to believe some held up so well, just beautiful! Where do they come from? Like mine were probably buried before going into battle & were so caked with dirt. Just curious, hard to believe that they could of been handed down from generation to generation, treasure chests? Thank for the help, much appreciated!

Most coins we have come from hoards that were buried or coins that were just lost by accident . As for it being Claudius II ,that is fine. Roman coins tended to have a long circulation life. If I recall Cassius Dio (a famous historian) was writing in the 210's and 220's and mentioned how people would pay extra for coins of Mark Antony stuck in 31 BCE that came up in circulation.
