There is also a 1936 dot 1-cent in his listings as well... asking price is about the same...

Dots are a fairly regular minor mint error. Maybe pay a couple of extra bucks if you like; just like any other minor variety. Unless it's got some specific history on it being deliberate like the 1936 1 cent then just go back to the rope you're smoking....
