Thought the Mint did a really nice job with the packaging and brochure on this (pricey) offering. My uncirculateds are starting to show a bit of toning.

Nice, the clamshell for the Flowing Hair medal looks pretty solid.

Outstanding!

I have that set and love it!

Pairs well with the 2014 Kennedy silver half dollar set.

I didn't think I had it but checked my records and looks like I do! It really is a nice set.

I thought the same thing. Same design team, perhaps?

Very nice OGP, everyone! Although I wasn't interested in buying the Flowing Hair medal, they really knocked it out of the park with the OGP.

I'll add this 2020 George H.W. and Barbara Bush Presidential $1 Coin & First Spouse Medal Set. The cellophane makes it especially tricky to photograph.

Was organizing this afternoon ( while watching college basketball ) and snapped a photo of my 2000 - 2010 Mint Sets :
Post-Pictures-Of-USA-Sets-In-Original-Government-Packaging
Does anyone know the origin of the Mint's tradition of representing Denver issues with Red and Philly issues with Blue ? My earliest Mint Set (1963) dates back to the "Pliofilm" cello holder and even then, they were designated with the same color scheme (and the discs ). Maybe a Mint Director coin flip ? Thanks

Does this one count?

Check out New Use For Previous Mint ASE OGP for its story.

I mistakenly bought a set like that. Discovered my error. Bought "real" OGP for the two coins and retain them to this day.
These aren't really what the topic is, but if nothing else serves as a warning to those who may see these and view them as a legitimate or otherwise a real US Mint set. The lack of a COA is your best clue.
