Nice set ..... I understand about getting good pictures ...

I have a lot of trouble with glare.

I think yours came out pretty good.

It's been over a year since this thread has been active, going on 14 months actually -- wow. Tonight I went back through it and remembered what a great thread it is for us fans of U.S. Mint products.

Anyway, I thought I'd revive it or at least give folks a chance to drool over GR58's hoard again. Here are a couple pics of my 2000 Leif Ericson Proof Silver Dollar. The packaging isn't all that much but the coin sure is cool. I may post a little more about this one in the U.S Commemoratives & NCLT forum as it is pretty interesting.

The little rectangular silver foil tab in the front of the coin says "proof" in script. It's hard to make out in the photo with the glare.

Leif Erricson is one of my favorite commemorative coins.
Thanks for posting them.

I have the 2 coin set that has the proof Erricson and the Iceland 1000 Kroner.
I will have to check if I have pictures of that set.

First up the Coin and Chronicles sets.
A group shot then a close up of the final one in the series Ronald Reagan.
Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Reagan included reverse proof Presidential dollars. Reagan set included a 30th Anniversary Silver Eagle. I enjoyed the medals in these sets. Some silver, some bronze and some both.
Also on the Reagan set the packaging was a bit different...kinda velvety to the touch.

I really liked the March of Dimes set which included a silver and reverse proof Roosevelt dime and a beautiful Commemorative silver dollar.

The mint produced the first "curved coins" in 2014 with the Hall of Fame Commemorative coins curved outward like a baseball on one side and curved inward like a catchers mitt on the other. Proof and uncirculated and available in gold, silver and clad both dollars and half dollars.

I purchased the clad proof and uncirculated half dollars. However once I saw the silver proof dollar in person that made my "someday" want list. I liked it!

This next one is a set I picked up after I saw and read GR58's post he made when he picked it up. It had a different and cool factor.
A couple of coin shows later I saw one and brought it home Thanks GR!
