I have searched and I found nothing like this..there are no words/letter on it. It was given to me by my grandfather. Possible ww2 army/Air Force. Maybe it has nothing to do with ww2, maybe some he found it or something that has been pased down in the family, any help would be great. Thanks for the help.

This looks like an old store credit token. So people can buy without paying right away. It would be cool if someone in the town where it was used could identify the store where it was used. IMHO Oh and

I am thinking an eagle on the front, would be less likely on a dog tag. What size is it? that might eliminate or suggest some ideas

Looks like some I saw a while back from a guy who collects prison tokens and related material. I remember it well because it was so odd. He had several and claimed they were tags for the K-9's. This one would have been for a Federal prison but some have state or other logos. However, all the ones I saw had the dogs name engraved or stamped on the reverse.
