I picked what to me makes the most sense: upgrade my standard of living. That pretty much means that I could pay all of my debts, have more time with my children, take more vacations, collect more coins, save more money, buy more cars, etc. I think that encompasses a lot of the other choices.

I'm with Topher, invest it all and live off the interest.

After I get that mustang convertible I've always wanted...........and hired Toby Keith to sing "how do you like me now" in person for the ex's.

heheheheh

1.) Pay off all the bills.
2.) Make Australia my new home.
3.) Travel the world to get my own coins from circulations, from dozens of countries.
4.) Invest a chunk of the money in some low-risk account, live off the interest.
5.) Have my own Coin Cabinet built. Preferably taking up an entire wall of my house. ^^

I'm surprised nobody said give it to the church. I'd build my own church and use the tax exempt proceeds to get all the rest of the stuff on the list. You see, I've had a vision and I truly believe that God wants me to have all these things!

I think 5 million would take the fun out of collecting, because then I could pretty much get whatever I want and, then what?

Since I'm from the Philippines, I would travel to US, Australia and Canada and back to US to permanently live there and buy every US coin that I would like to collect. I would buy a gold coin since I don't have one yet.. And give some money to families, friends and to charities.. Wheeeew! that would be great!

I've decided to use the five million to start my own micro-nation known as Slackdonia. Slackdonia will exist in the hole in the ceiling that I always intended to fix someday, but obviously I can't do that now. Slackdonia will not be hemmed in!!

As Royal Central Banker of the Nation of Slackdonia, I will be happy to "monetize" the credit card receipts of all my Royal Subjects in the ceiling, just like Big Ben does for his uncle sam.
Unfortunately, my Royal Subjects at the moment are just a couple of gecko lizards who most likely don't have any credit cards. Fools, don't they know how much wealth they're missing out on by not going into debt!

I guess I can't tax them either

So, I'll have to issue some Royal coins. I'm open to suggestions on the design but was thinking about "Kang" (A.K.A Elvis) the Royal feral cat with a dumb look on his face as the evil frog is eating his Royal cat food. A real story BTW. The frog was even lunging at it, as if the Royal cat food were bugs or something. The lunging scared poor Kang away. And in the distance real feral cats were laughing at him.

I'll also be selling Nation of Slackdonia bonds to China. Redeemable in Beijing Pot metal dollars.
Rest in Peace
