Hi I have the opportunity to get these banknotes. I'm wondering what's the approximately value you'd put on them? Thanks

$1 Beattie- Coyne L/L UNC: $8-11 (9.95)
$2 Lawson- Bouey M/G UNC: $10-14 (19.95)
$5 Beattie-Rasminsky C/X EF: $14 (AU 18.95)
$10 Beattie-Rasminsky M/V UNC: $40-60 (59.95)
$20 Beattie-Rasminsky C/W AU: $60 (45)
$50 Beattie-Rasminsky B/H EF: $90 (none available)
$100 Beattie-Coyne A/J EF: $140 (AU $140)

The first price is the book value.. the second price in brackets is what Gatewest sells theirs at... for a quick dealer compairison. If the grade you mentioned wasn't available I put in a grade in the brackets as well.. The only exception is the $50 dollar not you didn't mention the grade... so I assumed EF...
Your UNC's will have a range depending on their quality.

Generally for these types of notes I would say start your ask around 60% of book value but these are pretty common so I wouldn't pay more than 80% Book.

Seriously hope this helps...

Its too hard to judge the condition of them without a closeup picture but only 2 of them, the $1, and $2 appear to be uncirculated.

The $5 has a big ugly crease in the middle. I would call that one VF.
The $10 and $20 looks like to be EF to AU.
The $50 and and $100 are nowhere close to be EF-AU because they have creases and a lot of wear. I would say they are VF-EF.

But $225 is a very good price considering face value is $187.

For a face value of $188.00.... $225.00 isn't a bad deal for these notes.
