I promised an up-date (here on CCF) a few months ago. Well, here it is. ebay.ca will accept and action reports expeditiously when I report them. I tested the new procedure this past week with very pleasing results (100%). It has been a difficult road to re-build with the loss of Sgt. Tony, but it has now been re-opened. The blame for the steps backward falls squarely on the door step of the RCNA and the waste of space current president. The blatant conflict of interest is coming to an end and I hope the RCNA will become active again when the NEW president takes over. The RCM must step up in this project and I am attempting to find a sympathetic ear at the RCMP but it is tough. We at least have ebay back on our side. If you believe you see a counterfeit Canadian coin on ANY ebay platform, create a new thread here on CCF. If I agree (sorry I must be 100% sure) I will report it. It will go away. I realize this is not perfect but it is something. As of right now there is only us, the collectors that will do anything. Help me out will you please. I will be reaching out for help. Well, I see that Mikey has donned his body armour again and ready to joust with the offenders. Mike believes what he says and he needs all the help that others can give him. There is no more admirable cause for Canadian numismatics than to get the cheats and forgers our of our lives. If there's no money to be made through counterfeit Canadian coinage, then maybe they'll attack Russia or Indonesia or somewhere else.

Keep slugging away MM, behind you ALL the way. NEXT let's all boycott the forty thieves website which just went public and continues to flood the world with counterfeit goods of all kinds. Including RCM product and other Canadian coins. Mike I sincerely hope that one day you are sitting in the House of Commons Gallery in Ottawa when we finally pass a hobby protection act in our great country! Cheers JN |

The RCMP reassigned Sgt. Tony. The last I heard he was a watch commander in one of the B.C. detachments.

Thanks for the heads up EastVanRob. I met tony at a coin show in Vancouver a few years ago. A really nice guy and someone tht took counterfeiting coins seriously.
