I'm not really new, but I've been away from this forum for about a year. Plus, I'm not sure I ever posted in this thread.
I'm 72 and live in the Florida Panhandle. My earliest interest in coins goes back to 1962, when I was in my later single digits. Started getting more organized in the mid-1970s. Took a few years-long breaks since then, but even when not active, I held onto what I'd built.
I was an Air Force brat, and aside from Florida, have lived in New Jersey, Amarillo, Cripple Creek, Colorado Springs, Colorado, South Carolina, Minnesota, and Las Vegas. I'm a wannabe Oregonian.
I drive a 19-year-old, two-seat, rear-engine, Rear Wheel Drive car that was built in France by a German company with a Japanese 3-cylinder engine. When I sit in it, it tips the scales at one ton, assuming I just ate a hearty meal.
Well, that's more than you wanted to know, so I'll end here.
Happy New Year 2026!

Hi guys! New member from Finland. I had yeaaars my Father's old coin stash and now I decided to see those through. So many interesting coins and I then decided to showcase them through a Youtube channel: <Link Removed by Staff> - will be posting on ~weekly basis.

Hi all,
I'm a new collector and a seventeen-year-old high school senior from Madison, Wisconsin. I have done a little coin roll hunting, and I'm always looking to connect with other similarly-interested folks!

Hi - new member from the UK. Collector of British coins / bank notes but have recently started picking up US coins. Found this group whilst trying to research a 1800 Draped Bust Silver Dollar which seemed too good to be true. Most likely a fake, but a little bit of me is hoping it's not

Hello everyone! New member here from Mississippi (USA) I enjoy collecting most all US coins but particularly fond of the Washington quarters. My collection of WQ has grown significantly and currently only need eight (8) to complete my year/mm set 1932-1964, and about 25 from 1965-1998 (mostly proofs). I look forward to meeting and discussing all related topics here with anyone who's willing. God Bless!

I am attempting to introduce myself and hope I am doing this right. These old forums are amazing, but I am not use to the interface and everything so I may be posting in the wrong place. I am new to coin collecting but old in age being 40s+. I found some old Inian head pennies in some stuff I had and have become hooked because of everything I have learned while trying to figure out if my 1888 is the 8/7 variety. I have purchased a coin microscope, jewelrs loupe, some of those white cardboard coin holders, and a variety of other things as I get more into the hobby. I really like pennies the most. Would love to get some old Roman coins. To me, this is just a really cool hobby that I didn't realize was so complicated. I hope to learn all I can from everyone, and I hope I can contribute when I have knowledge of things. But mostly, I am here to soak up the wonderful library of knowledge you all have built here
