Pretty rough Bust Dime, but upon examining it I noticed what appeared to be a partial letter between the D Of UNITED and the S of STATES. Cant find any info and I just don't see any other evidence of a double strike.

It's "kind of" double struck.

This is JR-2, called the "Office Boy" reverse for the multiple letter repunching blunders. That's a repunched D between the D and S, or so they say - I think it's a U but some examples of this one look more curved than others.

No real premium in the grade but knowing the attribution helps assure authenticity for a potential buyer.
