Do we think any of the 125k were held back for 3 coin set release? Or do we think that additional coins in proof finish will be released in a 3 coin set?

I bought some planning on making a few sets, but then realized there could be a separate release. I might try to get back what I paid for them if that is the case, and only keep one.

I passed on the offer of $500 for 10, but is it wrong to purchase extras in the hope of selling a few and averaging down the cost to hedge against a gold drop?

Nothing has been mentioned regarding a set with all three coins...either proof or SP (MS) BUT this is the Mint so who really knows what will happen.

I don't think spot gold has much to do with the future value of these in that they are only 1/10th oz...so, in theory, gold could drop $50/oz and these would be worth $5 less...

After all the 125k hit the street I don't see a big price gain here...best prices probably are right now...

I would really like to see a set of all three coins....maybe a proof set which would not violate the 120k of this version.... Not likely though

I noticed MS 70s are listed for $600-$700, now.

Since this is my first hyped Mint release (I'm new to collecting), I've been caught off guard by the hoopla.

I usually go by the best prices not the highest

$357 NGC 70's

$361 PCGS 70's

Wait a few weeks and these will be lower

Never bought anything from mint before, I'm assuming if I sent it in, and it was removed from mint packaging, the values would probably be MS70 > Original Packaging > MS69 ?

Usually.....but this issue seems to have SP69 getting better prices than raw..(which makes zero sense)...still VERY, VERY, early yet

..and if you are submitting there is a minimum of 5 coins at least with NGC

I'm surprised NGC isn't waiving the 5 coin limit like they did with the C&C sets (of course, this is a gold coin though so that may be the difference)

I was lucky enough to get 10 coins. (I think). It only took 1 try for me to get the confirmation in my email and rechecking a few minutes later. Whole process was really easy and quick.

However, after still seeing them in "processing" on the mint's website today, I called and spoke to a rep. She said my order was on hold and they needed to "confirm" my information. So I "confirmed" all of my info over the phone and they said I should get an email on Monday... What the heck? They charged my card already and the charges went through... What other kind of confirmation do they need?

I swear, if I end up not getting my gold dimes, I'm gonna flip out!

I got mine in at 11:01 CST and it's still processing as well. I think it's because it's such a large order.

I'm just hearing about peoples orders already being shipped and I'm nervous.I just thought it was strange that I called and they were all like "yeeeaaah, we needed to confirm your info and stuff." How else would they have confirmed it if I didn't call?

I place my order at 12:00:01 CST.

You could tell the website was going to have problems as it was really slow to refresh about 1 minute before sales opened. I clicked add to cart, entered my credit card cvv, and was in and out in under 45 seconds problem free. And my order shipped yesterday. Tracking says it should be here on Tuesday
