triggersmob Pillar of the Community Australia 9466 Posts	Posted 11/02/2007 7:02 pm I bought some eggs at work today, but I forgot to bring them home. So I had to go to the shops and buy more. I put the change in my pocket without looking at it and then when I got home I checked it. What a surprise, I had been given a dollar coin that I haven't even seen before and in pretty good condition too. This is a non circulating coin, I wonder how it got in the till at the local supermarket. Here it is... Steve Report this Post to the Staff

blueczar1512 Valued Member Australia 112 Posts	Posted 11/05/2007 06:43 am this very morning I picked up a 2007 harbour bridge $1 in change from the parking machine at the Canberra Centre - these are the coins you buy at the mint for $2.50 - and it was change from $2! Nothing as good as the waltzing matilda coin but I think this is the only time I've got a non-circulating $1 in circulation Report this Post to the Staff
