She's a dark champaigny/steel color on the obs... the reverse has a slightly orange toning.

This one's knocking on XF40's door. I think the weakness at the rims is due to die wear. The distortions on the obverse stars and reverse legend are typical of extreme die wear which I expect would result in poor definition of the rims.

The color looks a bit off but I don't see any hairlines. So, it has probably not had any aggressive cleaning. Maybe there was a brief dip in this coin's recent past and it is beginning to tone back. Still a nice one!
