I've had this coin for over 10 years and my brother had it for 15 years before that. It hasn't been cleaned in at least that long!

I'd peg it at VF-30. Agree? Disagree?

Does anyone know which Overton variety it is?

Thanks!

Nice Half, Jaobler!

I know little about these halves, but I notice on the reverse there's something going on with the "F" in "OF".

Lessee what our Bustie experts have to say!

Edit for typo.

Yes, I'll go along with a 25, maybe even a 30.

I'll jump on the VF-25 bandwagon.

I'd have to say VF25 on this one. Nice detail and the surfaces look original to me. I'd like to see a little more detail in the eagle's wings and the clasp to go to VF30.

Ok, I think VF25 I agree with Susanlynn9 on the clasp... I haven't the foggiest on Overton but I notice the R in America as being intesting...

I'm going to edge down on the lower end and say F15. Perhaps it's a strike issue, but the bust line looks too worn for a VF+ grade, plus the eagle has what appears to be a lot of wear.
