Hi again,

I've been trying to capture the shininess of this coin (and others) but not having much luck. This one in particular looks odd to me (the date, mostly). This one isn't near as pretty as the one 7070 posted, but what do you think the grade would be? Sharpness has been cranked up a bit on these.

I see a little Cud on the left side of the eight and some scratchers and dings on the face and around the nose area. It's a nice coin, I'd grade it as MS-60

Interesting.. I've seen pictures of Cuds but it's different when you're holding one in your hand and looking at it. Very cool.. thank you ;)

its actually die chips between the loops of the "8". It is very common on Morgans and can be a way to determine EDS between LDS coins of a specific VAM
