Been looking around on ebay after reading about some ebay sellers on this forum. Turns out they are in Germany and sell in Euros and do ship to the US.

Anybody have any experience with this type of transaction?

ebay shows the price in US$ (which will fluctuate with the Euro getting crushed daily). It shows the shipping too.

Kind of worried about customs fees or currency transaction fees or any type of costs I am missing.

Here is an example of a coin from the seller I am looking at. Not THE coin, but a coin for an example. Ancient coinseller recommended in a few threads in the ancients forum.

Still 18 hours to go on that auction, but right now at roughly 13 bucks US shipped, that seems like a very nice coin for the price.

I understand that the US Dollar is absolute king right now, but there seem to be some great prices by looking at coins from European sellers now. Should be the same for Canadian coins.

You are right we are adjusting the pricing on our Canadian stuff every week! Ouch! From over par CAD to almost 1.28 ouch! You are right the US dollar is king dollar right now.
As to your query about paying , just pay via Paypal and use the conversion rate from USD to Euro s . The rate is always a bit stiff but you are going to be covered by ebay Paypal that way!
Good luck you US guys should be able to clean up for the next while!

Thanks Pacificoin. Been looking at land in Canada lately. Hunt and fish summer cabin type of land. Land looks real cheap up north right now.
