What is the cause of this rim and missing denticles on this dime?

Maybe the 2 die's previously clashed with the collar die at some point damaging both of them in the same area.

So you would call this a collar die clash struck with a partial collar engaged?

Not exactly sure what happened there, the reverse looks like it has rim finning about half way around as well.
Bit of an odd duck error..I'm gonna have some popcorn on this one.

Not a dime guy but I knew I had a 41 somewhere, looks like it had some denticle problems too, worn greasy beat up around the edge die's..I suppose

I have a 54 dime with the same thing going on. I just assume its grease strike through.
