spruett001- I'm wondering why PCGS didn't attribute the die cracks?

I think they only attribute them when asked and whoever got this slabbed did not ask.

Wow! Nice spiked head Mark! I've never really seen those spikes that straight before. I was getting ready to ask of those cracks were on the same coin......then I saw your dates.

Thanks Tom, I'm finally getting my lazy butt around to putting some of my finds in 2X2's just to make room on the desk and taking pics before I put them in the 3 ring binder plastic pages. More to come........

As jbuck said, the submitter must request variety/error attribution on the label. Die cracks are not normally attributed at all unless they create a specific catalogued variety. In this case, there is no recognized variety to attribute as far as I know.

I was thinking that but wasn't sure. Yes, that makes sense.

Yes, it's nice to be organized and find things (coins) when you need them.

How many times have I said to myself: I've seen that coin, where the heck did I put it?

Here's another similar one. I feel comfortable saying that the reverse has a bisecting rim-to-rim die crack. The obverse cracks don't meet in the middle so I guess they are "radial antipodal" cracks w/ possible central subsidence (maybe causing the weakness in Jefferson's hair ).
