I was just wondering about this, we all get foreign coins or wrong denominations in rolls (pennies in dime rolls, nickels in quarters etc)
I was wondering how many have found something of note worthiness.
I have come across numerous dimes in penny rolls (some USA, mostly Canadian) however I have found 3 silver Canadian dimes stuck inside these as well.

I search US Cents,I search Bank Boxes along with random Public Rolls.
With the Bank Boxes 99% times just Cents.
With the Public Rolls, dimes happen. This happens I think when the Public does not want to count and put a dime in or 2 to make sure the value is in the roll for the store.
Outside of that I have seen Dimes in Public rolls when the Cents are in super poor grade and I think then they put a few dimes to make up to the store.
Lastly I find dimes in Public Rolls because they are just in a hurry to pack the rolls and do not see them as they pack the rolls.

I once found a 1931 CND dime in a roll of pennies. Also a 1958 MS red Wheat cent in a roll of CND pennies.

Not a CRH find: but a few months ago I received a Canadian Nickel with the latest portrait of the Queen in change. "WOW" I said, and the clerk immediately offered to make good. "Oh no!" I replied. Not because it was valuable, but because I had never seen one before. I am in southern Connecticut about a five mile drive from Canada, and I have from time to time over the years received Canadian coins in circulation. I was pleased. Really, what is five cents anyway?

I've found a few dimes in cent rolls, and one in a nickel roll as well. Foreign coins aren't uncommon, usually Canadian, Euro, or miscellaneous Caribbean/Latin American coins. Best were probably a 1970s 20 Rappen, a Thailand 1 Baht, and a 1927 KGV Canadian nickel. And accordselux, you found a proof-only 3 cent coin in circulation? I think I speak for the rest of us when I say

Finn if it's a proof only coin than my memory must be wrong. It was just a nickel composition 3 center, and was worth less than $10, I'll have to double check the date. I've found a few Seated dimes and two 3 cent coins in rolls and I get the dates mixed up. I'll have to double check the right date.

Ahh, yes the 1878 had a mintage of just over 2,000 and is worth in the neighborhood of $400-800.

I looked again, it was 2 1868's. One pretty badly mauled, and another one in actually decent shape.

As of now it's been many years since I found anything except what was supposed to be in a roll.
