I don't think it is cracked because the foreign material appears to fold over the edge of the dime. Looking at the reverse just under the "I" in "DIME" it looks like there is a little something extra raised on the coin which could be the remnant of the material. With the dime being worn like it is, I don't thinking the weight will be accurate enough to help. Report this Post to the Staff
