My dad found this twenty dollar bill. It has this stamped on it. Anyone know what it is or why someone would stamp iton a billStamp-On-Twenty

Foreign Exchange places in third world countries often stamp currency after they have authenticated it.

I never knew that. I've seen a nr. with a circle around it stamped on notes and was
told they are just teller stamps. Is there a way to match up different teller stamps
and countries. That'd be a cool collecting niche.

It's also not uncommon to have cashier put a small stamp on the bills they accept. That way if a business get's stuck with a counterfeit, they know which cashier accepted it (basically to look for trends and discourage cashiers from accepting known counterfeits from "Friends").
