Today whilst changing some currency for one of the crew members I go a $5 star note I think its San Francisco "L12"
serial number CL 04584398* Its circulated but there are no tears just a couple of creases and a small coffee type stain in one corner. Should I add it to my star note stash or spend it?

I agree with laxmaster. A circulated star note probably doesn't have any premium. However, I tend to keep all star notes I find. No matter what condition, it still is a replacement note.

Personally, I keep every star note that comes into my possession. Why not, unless you need the cash more. They may not command a premium NOW, but who knows what the future will bring?

As long as I have been looking and have never found one, I would keep it if a 57 Chevy had just backed over it.
