Need Help With Identification Of 1702 Coin

doony78 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 04/04/2015 10:22 pm I need help identifying this 1702 coin. As you can see it has 11 stars but may have had 12 because of the hole. The back has no image on it. I do not know if this is an American coin or foreign coin. Thank you in advance for any knowledge you could share. Report this Post to the Staff

And without a reverse, it's certainly not a "coin" in the legal tender sense. It's reminiscent of some of the fake California Gold heads. Methinks it's a lot newer than it looks, but composed of a metal which corrodes quickly. Report this Post to the Staff
