Hi !

Would anyone have any info on this subject.
Seems to have been gold plated at one time,
but it has mostly worn off. All I know is it
is at least 45-50 yrs. old (min.) most likely
older.

These were given out as a premium when you bought gas. I have a set from the late 80's. Yours is probably from the 50's or 60's.

You can check out mine on my omnicoin site at http://www.omnicoin.com/?collection=echizento

They were also sent out in sets by time life magazine. They included 6 tokens (in no particular order) in a set. They were a free gift with that issue of the magazine. I posted the same query a while back and have since discovered similar coins both loose and in the sets. The sets were priced from .50 to 1.25 today when I was in the shop.

Correction, the sets were not from Time Life Magazine but the Reader's Digest. I bought them today but will be giving them away as part of my secret Santa gift. Here are some quick scans before they're mailed out though.

Reverse is the same for both sets
