So I decided to go out for a while. I was rev'ed up to go since I had a little taste of success a couple of days ago. I live close to an athletic field and so I went over there. Dozens and dozens of hits later I gave up....skunked. Not a single coin. At least I was able to rid the area of tinfoil and pull tabs, and got to see some neat birds too. Maybe next time.........

are there rules for doing this on athletic fields?
I imagine people would get upset at someone digging the grass up.

I ask, because today, was my first time ever, metal detecting. I went to my local beach to try out my new toy.
found 3 pennies and some aluminum foil.
i wanted to do the field, but the security guard so they don't like people digging it up.
