Why the need for advance notice - mintage is 30000...enough for all... This is all for DC comic lovers...just in time for big annual comic expo in Toronto on Labour day weekend...

Received the mail at the noon, an it wasn't in usual "Advanced Notice" format. Now interesting, who carefully started to spread the rumor about previous "last of the lasts Superman release"? Do the Superman fans / coins collectors feel that "must have" them? There is no real difference between why to buy the 2014 and not to buy all 2015.... 20 for 20 Superman arrived today. Kind of underwhelming. Super looks constipated. BTW, the invoice calls this "DC Comics Originals: Superman". I assume that means there will be many more 20 for 20 issued with the rest of the Justice League.

Just a question, have they released any other coins yet with the exact special hologram technology used on the 2013 superman? And if so, are they "premium" popular?

Not for any of Superman / DC related. Do not remember other themed coins. As I understand, the 2013 "Metropolis", "The Shield" and "Man of Steel" demand more or less same premium on the secondary market. But not will say really popular.

Was just browsing ebay this morning and came across a set with the 2013 gold coin, it's only at $1150 right now with about 4 hours left. Looks like there is a reserve on it though. If anyone is interested here's the link : http://www.ebay.ca/itm/171888624078

Alright haha. I guess if someone sets the reserve too high people just tend not to bid and it looks like a good deal but it never ends up actually selling.

i e-mail and asked him what his reserve was... he said a little over 2000, but he wouldn't tell me the exact number... go figure... anyway, too much for my blood... I don't even really want the silver ones anyway... just the gold... lol

Didn't go to Toronto Fan Expo...
Will be same as previous years. All the SW Lego sets already in Lego and Disney stores and - all 2015 silver Superman coins I see still available at local PO branches...no Superman fans no collectors have interest to these items.
