Thank you!! I always try to pick up good condition circulated Liberty Seated coinage when possible. I need to join LSCC already.

Quote: Nice 1851-O dime, Ralph! Thanks. I started this set of Seated dimes years ago - lot of low grade coins in the beginning - getting in a little upgrading - still circulated, but a step up. Had I done my homework prior to starting, I might not have started this set because of the cost involved, and, by the time I finally got around to picking up a book, I was too far along in it not to keep going forward (buy the book before the coin!) I'm down to five coins for completion....'63 through '67 (Philadelphia) and the 1873-CC and 1874-CC.....all expensive coins, and they just don't seem to come up all that often, but I'll keep plodding along, and, eventually, get to the end of the road.

Keep it up, Ralph -- based on your Morgan sets I'm sure your LSD set will be a winner as well. Much like you, I started out with a handful of low grade & culls. I don't have the money to pursue a set so I picked up a few type coins, and a few mid grade, and the rest are still my now 20+ year old culls :)
Please post a picture of the Dansco when you get done. I have never seen a complete LSD set in person or online, either.

Oh heck. Here are some recent Half Dime pickups. All from a local shop. I'm kicking myself for passing on an 1844-o but thought it was too much. Now it's gone.

I noticed a few 1891's - which happens to be a favorite date of mine - as its my Grandmother's birth year. My Grandfather's Birth year Dime: The better MS Example: MS 65+
