Got this for my type set. After I had won, but before I paid, I noticed that the color and wear pattern looked a little odd, so I checked the no-no site and I find a very similar-looking coin. After 10 minutes of comparing, I see enough differences that make me conclude that they were struck from different dies. However, just in case, I have not yet paid and asked the seller to weigh the coin.

With over 1.2 million struck there HAD to be different dies used.
On a guess I would say at least 6 different.
And in those days the dies were still hand made one by one so difference were expected.

I was saying that the dies used to strike the coin in question are different from those used to strike the counterfeit.

Definitely not the same dies as that used for the "no-no" coin.

I think it's OK, but I'm betting it wouldn't cost that much more to get a better example.
