I have one of these, mint condition with an error.. The word silver on the back, the R is double struck, slight on the e as well.. Any thoughts on if this is rare and/or value? Can't upload a pic right now .. And I can't seem to find anything on this coin with an error
It is a "Morgan Round," a chunk of silver shaped like a Morgan. You buy them to hold bullion. They are not numismatic, not coins, and do not change in value when you melt them. So anything we might describe as a "righteous error" on a minted coin is simply as inapplicable to the piece as functional wings on a statue of a bird.
That, unfortunately, is why you can't find information on "errors" for them.
