Did two boxes today, both skunks. I have 2 more waiting for me at the bank.

Anyone else have to pay for your boxes? My ban is charging $6 per box for the rolls. If so, what do you pay and where?

I pay nothing! find a different bank! You would gd better off buying silver at melt then paying 6.00 a box.

That's for sure. You'd have to average 3 40%ers per box just to break even---and most people searching boxes average is below that--

Agreed, find a different bank for sure. There's times where I order $3000 in halves at a time, and the tellers just wish me luck in my coin searching.

1 - Walker (44)
1 - 90% silver commemorative Stone Mountain
1 - 1995 Olympic baseball clad commemorative
2 - impaired clad proofs (03, 04)

Nice bag AG. I am jealous. Also, thanks guys for info on the bank fees. I was thinking of switching banks, but I wanted to make sure there are banks that don't charge. Maybe I can find one that can get 1K bags.

Wow! Great job on the 1K bag. That's more silver than I have found in 30 boxes. I'm jealous too. Speaking of guitar pics, I found on in a roll last week.

That's quite a haul, AG. I'm extremely jealous.
I'd love to find a bag like that.
I just did two boxes today & found:
3 - 1968D
1 - 1964P
3 - NIFC
8 - Strike thru errors
12 Mint State between 71 - 90
1 - 1973 copper cent - that roll only had 19 halves plus this penny so I figure I lost about 48 cents.

Speaking of losses, has anyone else had issues w/ rolls being short when getting boxes from Strong & Son? In a normal box, I'd find 8 - 10 rolls that each had only 19 halves. That really adds up to quite a loss even if you find a couple silvers. It seems the last 8 boxes or so that they've fixed the problem, but was wondering if anyone else had noticed it.

I personally havent had any issues coming up short on String and Sons wrapped rolls. I did however buy a $500 bag and when counted was $70 short.

Got my 3 boxes. Did one this morning and was disappointed again, 96 proof and a 06D. After the next 2 boxes believe its time to do a break and stay away from Fed boxes.

My wifes friend works at a bank about 20 miles from here. They went out to dinner a couple of weeks ago and her friend gave her a bag of Kennedys, $69.00 to be exact. Wife paid her and the following Sunday I looked through them and much to my surprise there was 5 40% in the bag.
1-1965
2-1967
2-1968 D

Also a few other that I needed to help build my collection.

Needless to say, I was pretty pleased.

While your haul is envious, I'm extremely jealous of you bottle of the Lager.

They sell no Yuengling west of Ohio. :(
