1923 Buffalo Nickel Strike Error? - Coin Community Forum

I inherited some of my grandfathers lower grade coins - no gold or silver, but, they're interesting enough to get me hooked. Anyway, this coin was in the collection. I know it's hard to make out the date but it is barely visible with a loupe. It's a 1923. I know it's in poor shape, but, does it look like it had some kind of error when it was struck?
