Oh god a series? My wallet is crying but I am pretty stoked

I also just took the tops from 2 ASE airtites and taped them together along the edge, it doesn't look bad and fits the coin alright.

^ the mint tubes? or the square ones? Maybe its operator error on my part but I tried putting them in both mint tubes and regular cheap plastic eagle tubes and they got stuck. I had to break open the plastic one just to get one of the privateer rounds out of it.

So is this going to be like a one-per-year sort of thing? Is that usually how it works?

Looks like the second coin is soon and the third is in the works. Maybe up to five in the series.

There have been many questions about the two ounce high reliefs and I hope I can answer all your questions in this thread. Q. Is Elemetal Mint making any more P1s? A. No more orders are being taken for P1s, but the mint is still making P1s to fill dealer orders that were taken on Friday 06/12 (the last day the mint accepted dealer orders).

Q. Will Provident have any more P1s than what is in stock here and here? A. No. Once our stock is gone, that's it. No more.

Q. Will other dealers have P1s longer than Provident? A. I'm sure some will. I tried to ensure we'd have at least some available for when P2 came out by placing an order on Friday, but obviously it's an estimate and so I could be off. We thought about placing a large order, but decided that we just want to get to P2 and be well stocked there so we don't have the delays we had with P1.

Q. What is the mintage? A. I haven't done the tally yet, but the total mintage is less than 75k. I'll release the exact number soon.

Q. How many different Privateer issues will there be in the series? A. No definite number of issues in the series yet. We're in the final stages of P2. We're in the early design stages of P3. I am personally hoping to get to at least P5, but no promises; a lot of this series depends on y'alls demand for it. If you hate P2 and P3, that might be it. If you love both, we will likely make a final decision on the number of issues at that time. It's too early with this product (because it's a new product, not just a new design) to make a decision now.

Q. When is P2 coming out? A. July

Q. What is P2 gonna depict? A. I'll leak that information here a few days before its release.

Q. Is there a capsule to fit Privateers? A. We designed it and are hoping for delivery by the end of this week (06/19).

Q. Any other subject matter besides Privateers for 2 ounce UHR? A. Yes. As a matter of fact, one will be released within the next 10 days. Likely others after that. I'll post a photo of it soon. Maybe Wednesday. Not sure.

Well seems like it should be soon! Anyone know of any place to get an update on some of the stuff Ryan mentioned?

I asked provident a few days ago and they said they had not even completed the dies yet. They said July is still a "possibility", so I imagine it will be late July early August before we see anything.

It looks like they are running low on privateers... the price went up today despite the fact that silver went down.
