So I saw the listing. The pictures aren't bad, there is no mention of an EF45, and no mention that this coin has been graded by ICCS and pulled from holder other then the x ICCS ref in the header).
@ Coinhunter the seller has another 1858 for sale that says Ef 45 . It is quite clear that neither coin is in any holder hence the EX ICCS statement I would think.
Keep in mind that this seller offers "no returns" on his coins, which are mysteriously almost always raw, even the expensive ones- Unless he can get Louis at CCCS to put an attribution that doesn't exist on a holder. Then it's priced out of this galaxy.
@poker those are some harsh words you toss out.Have you ever asked the seller about returns. Before bashing the person who by the way has 100% positive feedback maybe you should ask him or her that question ..Just saying. I personally always check the feedback to see what others say and from I read there is not 1 single bad thing there? They must be doing something right
Pokerman , I was curious so I had a look at your ebay ? You make some bold statements about this seller e=but you also are selling several raw coins quite high priced I might add and I noticed one with AT that is not mentioned anywhere in the listing ? is there a reason why ? And on another note bashing Louis about an attribution that does not exist ? says who You ? I meen common if he seen it then it is what he says just because its not in a book does not meen its not fact right ?
All new discoveries come as 1 first until others are found If they are found. just saying
That's our good friend Artdio. Here is a prime example of a coin that should be graded by ICCS so any potential purchaser of this coin knows exactly what there getting for $400.00. If Art thinks any knowledgable collector is going to buy that coin raw without it being TOG graded he is sadly mistaken. All the risk involved with purchasing this coin are shouldered by the buyer. Being a x ICCS means nothing, it needs to be a real ICCS or other TPG.
So Mr. "mycoins", you AND artdio (sid-123) just both happen to post/message me directly through ebay about an "AT" coin of mine within minutes of each other?
You may as well come clean that this is your alternate forum account, artdio. Thanks.
Sorry Mr Pokerman but you are mistaking. Just another collector who thinks you jumped the gun with your coments @ wireman I have purchased many raw coins that sellers have graded themselves and always make my own decision about grades. If I think its lower I offer accordingly to what I think If seller expects to get 400 they would not say best offer right ? just saying maybe they are simply asking what they think is fair and not like dealers asking 100 % trends and expecting 90 %
Seller has removed " x ICCS " reference on 2 coins. I quess that clears up any confusion on the listing. I myself have listed an item that had worn itself out of the flip and told the buyer he could send it to the TPG for re-flipping.
