Poll Question
I won this coin on ebay France (I don't have it in hand yet). I bid on it because I think it's Valentinian III with Victory reverse.

It looks like most of his name is legible on the obverse legend, although parts of some of the letters are struck off the small flange. I think I can make out the ALENTINIANVS.

Do folks think this is Valentinian III?

Valentinian-III-Ae-4?

Please ignore the poll questions below the photos. I think I must have used the wrong category when posting my photos.

I'd would agree that it's Val III.

i wouldn't have know who it was...but that's an interesting coin PB! I wasn't familiar with the type, the style is strange for LRB....of corse this is very late roman bronze. looksing a a few on acsearch and vcoins, this one is a pretty good example of the type.

I received the coin today. It's definitely Valentinian III. The name is even complete, although the V is weak and parts of the letters are struck off the small flange.
