I think that you are probley right with the deter.dbl it starts at the chin and goes past the bow tie. I can tell it's not a scratch. I just can't seem to get the lighting right on this one.
It could be part of a die crack. Starting west of the 1 in the Date running through the bow tie to the neck. A die crack will not be straight (well usually.) I've never seen one like that before. but you can see where a die clash happened in that same area. It may have cracked during the clash and got worse with continued use. https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...ie_Clash.jpg The clash mark next to the one is the E on ONE. If it is raised and not incuse then it would be a die issue. It is incuse then it is a planchet/post mint issue. But I've never seen that before. Thanks for the look.
